I carried out a presentation to get feedback on all aspects of the project, the presentation can be seen below.

I believe that my poster is the best product of the whole project, it is simple yet effective and sophisticated with its contrasting, popping colours and relevance to the story. I was told through feedback that it was one of the best posters out of all of the ones submitted because of these reasons, however it was mentioned that the font could have been more creative and the background felt empty which I agree with. If I was too do it again, I would try and include something in the background like bird silhouettes and I would try and a thicker and more interesting font to use.

I believe that the performance recording was very good because it focuses a lot on what we found in our research. In the recording, there is focus on the actors and lighting which were two of the most important things according to our audience research. However there were things such as audio that were a prominent issue. Microphones would accidentally turn off or would be blown into which would disable them. To prevent this in the future, I would use another method of recording audio, possibly boom mics for example.

The title sequence was effective and in theory a good title sequence. It introduced the audience to certain themes and locations that are relevant to the play. However i was told by the client that the colours and music made the title sequence seem very childish when it was intended  for people aged 16-24. In order to meet these requirements, I believe I should have struck a balance between sophisticated but exciting colours similarly to how I did with the poster.

My presentation didn't go as well as i'd hoped. I didn't come very prepared and the file had messed up the last 2 slides which meant I had to improvise my delivery. In the future to prevent this, it would be better to go over my presentation a few times, possibly to a practice audience, and to create a back up file incase anything happens to the original. What I did do well though was explain the intentions and how the media met the expectations of the client.

I gained a lot of valuable experience and skills from this project. Although it hasn't been my favourite project and it was quite frustrating at times, I enjoyed learning more about the principles of colour, typography and illustration. It was also a good introduction to Adobe After Effects, although it is a software that I have used before, I learned about a lot of things that I didn't know before. I also carried out a few new research methods which will be very useful in the future as i have a wide selection of research methods to apply to different future project.
